Board Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month.  Special meetings are called as needed. The public is invited and encouraged to attend meetings. Please call ahead for confirmation of meeting time.

Agendas and Meeting Minutes can be found at the right side of this page by clicking on the appropriate meeting.  The Town Clerk's Office is the official repository for meeting minutes and agendas.  All attachments can be obtained by visiting the Town Clerk's office and requesting a copy of the minutes.  A copy fee will be charged, as permitted by Freedom of Information Regulations. 

The Board of Selectmen are responsible for preparing the General Government Budget that is presented to the Board of Finance. One of the components of the Budget is Capital Expenditures.  The First Selectman prepares a list of items to be considered by the Board as capital expenditures.  The Board discusses the needs and prepares a plan of action (the 5 year capital plan). This plan is reviewed and adjusted each year.  This plan serves as a guideline for expenditures that are not funded through the operating budget.
