BE KIND- JOIN LIONS

The New Hartford Lions Club meets monthly (currently through Virtual ZOOM meetings) and is seeking new members to help support their mission

Would you consider joining a local group of individuals actively serving New Hartford? The New Hartford Lions Club is a small local club partnering with the largest organization in the world. There are Lions Clubs in almost every nation on the planet. 
New Hartford's group is small, yet mighty, but NEEDS YOUR HELP!   There are many unseen needs in our community and we are a group that tries to alleviate our neighbor's burdens. 
We are a diverse group, and each member can find a unique way to serve. We contribute through fundraisers, conduct vision screenings for all New Hartford elementary and preschool age children, perform service projects for veterans and conduct food drives to provide food for our neighbors in need - just to name a few things we do!
Please consider joining us at one of our monthly meetings for more information. Throughout 2020 we have held our monthly meetings via ZOOM.  We are respectful of everyone's time constraints, realizing we each have multiple obligations.
Our members would tell you that they most enjoy the new friendships developed while serving others.  It really is a lot of fun!  We have all been given so much, let us return the blessings.

The Lions Club would also like to extend their thanks to all who participated in their recent Can and Bottle Drive Fundraiser. Chairman Donna MacDonald writes "The members of the New Hartford Lions Club would like to thank all those who contributed to our can and bottle drive.  The turnout was phenomenal and the words of kindness were appreciated."
