Time to renew!  If your pet is due (or overdue) for rabies vaccinations, please contact your veterinarian now to schedule an appointment.

We will begin issuing 2024 dog licenses on June 1st.  Please take a moment to confirm that your dog's rabies vaccination will be valid when you renew.  Please note:  if your dog's rabies vaccination expires in June you must renew the vaccination before you can obtain or renew their license.

If you adopted a new dog during the pandemic or are new to town and have not yet registered your dog, please be aware that all dogs 6 months of age or older must be licensed every year during the month of June.  You will need to show proof of rabies vaccination and spay/neuter (if appropriate).  Please watch for the postcard in the mail later this month and plan to visit us in June to obtain a tag for your new pet.  If you are not comfortable visting Town Hall in person, you may also mail in your dog's information, payment and proof of rabies & spay/neuter with a self addressed stamped envelope and we will mail the tag and documents back to you.

Ticks are abundant again this year, please be vigilant in checking your animals and family members carefully after spending time enjoying the outdoors.

If you have updated rabies certificate(s) and would like to renew online after June 1st, click here to send us an email with a scan of the rabies certificate so we may update our records or fax the certificate to 860-379-0614.
