The New Hartford Women’s Club (NHWC), founded in 1966, is a non-profit organization composed of local women diverse in age, background, and interests; but all sharing the common goal of helping and improving our community.

These goals are solidified in community outreach activities which are designed to encourage interest in areas such as pride, improvement, conservation, education and local arts is to name but a few. The NHWC provides a pleasant way for local woman to meet and network with their peers.

The record of NHWC accomplishments throughout the decades makes it clear that diversity in an organization is a positive attribute. Our members share the enthusiasm and single-minded dedication of their community, which has always been a hallmark of NHWC members.  Our volunteer members contribute their time and talents by participating in or organizing functions.  All active members are asked to make a conscientious effort to attend regular club meetings on the 1st Thursday every month (except June, July and August), participate in club service projects, such as community service at the local facilities, outreach programs, NHWC primary fundraisers, and other club functions.
