Stanclift Cove Authority
The Stanclift Cove Authority is charged with operating the beach at Stanclift Cove in Barkhamsted. There are three volunteer representatives from each of the 2 member towns (New Hartford and Barkhamsted) who are elected to a three year term at Town Meeting in each town. The beach is open to New Hartford or Barkhamsted residents for an annual fee and to other individuals at non-resident rates. There is also small non-motorized boat launching available (sticker required).
