Stanclift Cove Authority
The Stanclift Cove Authority is charged with operating the beach at Stanclift Cove in Barkhamsted. There are three volunteer representatives from each of the member towns of New Hartford and Barkhamsted who are elected to a three year term at Town Meeting in each town. The beach is open to New Hartford or Barkhamsted residents for an annual fee and to other individuals at non-resident rates. There is also small non-motorized boat launching available (sticker required).
