Bring your own showshoes, poles, etc.  Meet at Trailhead just east of 140 Sabolcik Road. (Go south 1.5 miles on East Cotton Hill Road from Bakersville blinker. Turn left onto Sabolcik Road and bear right onto dirt section of the Road. Go past 'Road Closed' sign. Preserve sign on right.) NHLT volunteers will direct to parking.  You must enter from East Cotton Hill Road not South Road in winter due to seasonal closing of a section of road.
