Children's Safety Event at People's Forest Pavilion

A Community Children's Safety Day, sponsored by Daughters of the American Revolution Brooks-Green Woods Chapter, will be on May 13th from 9 am until noon at the Peoples Forest Pavilion, 106 East River Road, Barkhamsted, CT. Fingerprinting kits will be distributed to the first 100 children accompanied by an adult. The Masons will instruct parents on how to properly take fingerprints. Canaan State Police, New Hartford Ambulance, Torrington Health District, Riverton and Pleasant Valley Fire Departments, and CPR Dummies with Sarah Toomey will also be represented.
