A message from the First Selectman

Thank you to all those who took the time to exercise their right to vote on Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Our Annual Budget passed; 268 in favor, 87 opposed. Northwestern Regional #7 also passed with New Hartford voters voting 198 - 156. This budget takes effect July 1, 2011- June 30, 2012. Thank you for your support. With the coming of Spring, our town forces will now turn their attention to much needed road and infrastucture repairs and upgrades. The Town Road Crew will be visible working on such projects as preparing roads for paving and chip-sealing, replacing drainage pipes and catch basins, maintaining our parks, as well as fixing potholes and cutting trees.
