Stanclift Cove

Stanclift Cove is a public swim area jointly operated by the Towns of Barkhamsted and New Hartford.  It is located on Route 318 in Barkhamsted, CT.  Beach Passes are required for entry to the Cove. Resident and Non-resident fees apply.  NO DAY PASSES available- you must purchase a sticker for the season.

Closing Day - Labor Day
Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Gate Closes at 8:00 P.M.*

*Please note that as the length of daylight decreases the beach must be closed earlier.

During times of inclement weather,
call the beach at (860) 379-8082 to determine if the Cove is open.
