TAX PAYMENT REMINDER FOR THE 2022 GRAND LIST

Dear Taxpayer,

Taxes for the 2022 Grand List are due.

If you have not yet submitted your payment,

The last day for payment is August 1, 2023

We do accept postmark as payment date

They are available for viewing, printing or paying on our website (www.newhartfordct.gov). 

There is an additional fee for paying online

(this fee does not go to the town it is a fee for processing the payments from the online company)

If your billed Vehicle has been sold, stolen or junked, please contact the Assessor at 860-379-5235 BEFORE YOU PAY YOUR BILL, should you have an adjustment.  Any questions about assessments or exemptions should also be directed to the Assessor. 

Please double check your payment for accuracy.

If your check is incorrectly made out and we cannot contact you, the payment will be returned

This office does not accept payments nor have access to information pertaining to the Fire Districts.  Please direct any Fire District questions to your Fire District tax collector.
