Veterans - Tax Relief

Any Honorably Discharged Veteran entitled to a Veteran's Exemption.  Any Veteran who has not already done so, must file Honorable Discharge Papers (form DD214) with the Town Clerk by September 30.


Additional Veteran (income based) An additional exemption is available for income qualifying Veterans.  The filing period is February 1 though October 1.  The maximum income limit for a married Veteran is $53,400; unmarried Veteran is $43,800. Click here for the Additional Veterans application.

Active Duty Serviceman Exemption qualify to have one vehicle exempt from taxation if they file the proper application within 18 months of the Assessment date for their vehicle.  Click here for the Active Duty Veteran application.
