Recording Fees to Increase Effective December 1, 2017

The State Legislature has modified C.G.S. 7-34a to increase the fees for recording a document on the municipal land records. Effective December 1, 2017 the fee for recording the first page will increase from $53 to $60 in accordance with this modification. Any subsequent additional pages of the same document will remain at $5 each. Similarly, the fee for recording a Forclosure Registration will increase from $53.00 to $60.00.
At this time, recording fees for documents reflecting a nominee of a mortgagee impacted by PA 13-247 have not been changed.
